Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is IV hydration?

IV hydration delivers fluids, vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals directly into your bloodstream for fast absorption. This method allows your body to receive nutrients more efficiently than through oral supplements.

  • How long does an IV drip take?

Most IV drips take 30–45 minutes, depending on the formula, however, NAD therapy can take 1.5-2 hours. Wellness shots typically take a few seconds.

  • Does IV therapy hurt?

You may feel a small pinch during the needle insertion, but most clients find the process comfortable. Our nurses ensure you are relaxed and supported throughout the session.

  • Is IV therapy safe?

Yes. IV hydration is administered by trained registered nurses using medical-grade equipment and sterile techniques. We review your health history to ensure each service is appropriate for you.

  • How quickly will I feel the benefits?

Many clients feel improvement immediately or within an hour, especially with hydration, energy, and nausea relief. Some benefits—like beauty, immune, or vitamin support—build gradually over time.

  • Can you come to my home, hotel, or office?

Yes! Kai Ola Hydration is 100% mobile. We come to your home, hotel, vacation rental, event, or office for convenient and private treatments.

  • Do I need to prepare for my appointment?

Preparation is simple. For all standard IV drips, make sure you’re well-hydrated so your session is as comfortable as possible. If you’re receiving an NAD+ infusion, we recommend fasting or having only a very light meal beforehand, as many clients find they tolerate NAD+ more comfortably on an emptier stomach.

  • Can I receive IV therapy while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Some services are safe, but others are not recommended. Please consult with your provider, and we will review your options during your intake.

  • How often can I get an IV drip?

Most people receive IV therapy every 1–2 weeks, depending on goals and lifestyle. Wellness shots can be given more frequently.

  • Do you offer group or event services?

Yes! We provide IVs and wellness shots for parties, weddings, corporate events, retreats, and athletic groups. Ask about group rates.

  • What types of payments do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, HSA/FSA (for qualifying treatments), apple pay, and other contactless payments.

  • Do you offer discounts or promotions?

We offer rotating special offers, seasonal pricing, and member perks. Check our Promotions page or follow us on social media for current promos. At this time, we don’t accept insurance, but we do our best to keep our pricing clear and accessible.
